Honey Cranberry Sauce


  • 12 oz. bag of fresh cranberries
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ½ cup honey, or to taste
  • ½ cup slivered almonds
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon


  1. Place the cranberries, orange juice and honey into a medium sauce pan and cook on medium for 15-20 minutes, stirring frequently. You will hear the cranberries pop as their skins slowly soften. Once there are no whole berries left, taste and add more honey if desired and cook for another 10 minutes. Then add the cinnamon and almonds and stir well. Remove from heat and place in serving bowl. The sauce will thicken more as it does so.
